First Page Google Results - How Do You Rank? [Infographic]

In 2015, what does Google favor as a whole?

Everyone knows that with a large enough SEO budget, anyone can rank almost any website, even if that website isn’t properly optimized. But the proactive SEO professionals know that it’s best to see what Google is already giving favor to, then follow that, rather than guessing, getting it wrong, and being overtaken by those who have done the proper research.

We did the research.

We took the first-page results for over 40,000 keywords, ran the numbers for a number of different criteria, and came up with the somewhat-surprising infographic below. You can see the overall SERP landscape for things like URL length, keyword frequency, meta data length, and much more.

If you’ve never been quite sure how to set up your pages for SERP success, the below infographic will show you what’s already working - if you’re going against the grain and not getting the results you want, switch things up and join the cool kids’ club on the first page of Google results.

What is your website missing?
