Changelog [text version]

Social Media Tool:

In keeping with the latest SEMrush trends, you'll notice an increased focus on our Social Media Tool. This week, we've revamped the Comparison with Competitors block with bigger numbers, absolute values as opposed to only relative values and sorting functions within the chart block itself. Additionally, you'll notice that most charts are now set to a date range of thirty days by default. However, there's a highlighted section depending on which date range you select.

Project Sharing:

This is something SEMrush users have begged for and we're excited to announce the first iteration of project sharing is now available to the public. Now, you can share your projects with colleagues and clients (even if they're only signed up as a free user) and CMO's can share their projects with team members even without access to a business level SEMrush account. There are currently three caveats to keep in mind:

  1. Every SEMrush account has 100 shares in total
  2. You must share an entire project. You cannot share only position tracking or only site audit.
  3. You are sharing read-only access. The other member cannot make changes to the project.

Position Tracking:

This week, we've launched a new metric within Position Tracking called "Estimated Traffic" and it's pretty self-explanatory. This metric can be found in almost every report in the Position Tracking tool and shows you how much potential traffic you're gaining for each keyword (or group of keywords in the Landing Pages Report) based on factors such as Search Volume and Position.

Finally, we've switched some things up in the Competitors Discovery Report. Previously, it contained two tables - Competitors and Winners & Losers. Essentially, these reports were the same except they were sorted by different columns/calculations. We've now combined these into a single report to simplify your workflow.

Let us know how we're doing — You can reach our Technical Support team Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. EST by phone at 855-814-4510 within the United States and, for our international users, 408-844-4633 from 4 a.m.-12 p.m. GMT. We're also available by email at [email protected] during both of those business hours and on Twitter using the hashtag #SEMrushCare.

Hi! Am confused about the Estimated Traffic curve. How does it show a drastic change even though change in ranking and average position is minimal?
