I‘m in Love with a Tool: SEMrush Changelog, Health and More, 07/02/2015

Once again, I'm creating this post on Thursday. But, this time, it's due to the July 4th holiday that I'm sure everyone is looking forward to.

Please keep in mind that it means our US Support team will be unavailable until next Monday. However, email by Support will be available in the wee hours of the morning if we're talking about Eastern Standard Time. You can also try reaching out on our social channels like Twitter. You can read more about that below!

Changelog

Nothing major this week. It's a bit of a "calm before the storm" type of situation because we have some big updates coming out very soon. One handy little functionality has been added to our Position Tracking tool that allows you to manage your keywords directly from the Report view by simply selecting the keywords you'd like to group and adding your tags via a menu in the top-left corner of the table. Please check out the short video changelog above to see a demonstration.

The Position Tracking maintenance I mentioned last week certainly did happen beginning Friday. However, it took much longer than we anticipated. Much to the chagrin of our Product Owners, Development and Customer Success team, the maintenance finally wrapped up on Wednesday July 1, and we are now rebuilding the previous data points.

Don't worry; the data are there! But we will be rebuilding the most recent data points first because we know that the most recent data is always the most relevant.

#SEMrushCare

Well, don't worry about the capitalization. But, please please PLEASE use this hashtag when contacting Technical Support via Twitter. We're really trying to push this hashtag because it helps the Social and Support teams manage support cases much more efficiently.

Once again, make sure you check out Mike Isaac's posts on our blog. They're software-centric and they're going to give you some great insight into the tool itself.

Thanks, everyone! Have a great holiday.

Let us know how we're doing — You can reach our Technical Support team Monday through Friday from 10am-6pm EST by phone at 855-814-4510 within the United States and, for our international users, 408-844-4633 from 4am-12pm GMT. We're also available by email at mail@semrush.com during both of those business hours. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any additional questions.
