This week, we take a quick dive into a couple of enhancements in our Projects Section. First, within Site Audit, we've added a new warning check — "Homepage Does Not Use HTTPS." As you know, security has become quite the ranking factor in Google and this check will alert you if, in fact, we do not find HTTPS on your homepage.

Next, we look at the new SMM (Social Media Monitoring) tool. Since its launch a few weeks ago, we've already seen huge improvements and additions. This includes the Activity Report, which we deployed this week. You can now drill down or show all activity for any or all profiles in the campaign, as well as sort them by metrics such as the amount of activity or a specific activity like shares, comments or likes.

SEMrush Health

  • Position Tracking is now fully operational after some users' campaigns were showing incorrect rankings in mobile and tablet data earlier this week.
  • On Monday, July 27, 2015, at around 2-3 p.m. EST, we experienced an outage that lasted about 30-45 minutes for some users. This outage was due to networking issues on our side. Most phones were out as well, so if you were attempting to call us, we were unable to receive inbound calls. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Customer Success: New Blood!

For the most part, the Customer Success Department has completed its latest round of hiring. We've got some incredibly bright, talented and friendly faces attacking cases and phone calls. So, you can expect some big changes coming soon that will extend our reach and allow us to break some new ground here at SEMrush. More details to come of course but, we always have your best interests in mind. :)
