I'm in Love with a Tool: SEMrush Changelog, Health and More: 08/14/2015

Let's take a look at the changes we've seen this week.

  • Position Tracking: Finally! PDF reports are now available for the Overview and Rankings Reports within Position Tracking. In addition to options such as branding (at the Guru level, of course), the ability to edit headers, send to recipients via email and enable a table of contents, PDFs for the Overview Report also generate on-the-fly. (Unless the report contains a large amount of keywords; in which case, you'll find them in the "My Reports" section once they generate.) Same goes for the Rankings PDFs. Because they typically contain a large amount of data, they will automatically be sent to the My Reports section.
  • Site Audit - Hovering over the user agent icon to the top-left will now show you whether your Site Audit campaign is set to crawl either the Desktop or Mobile version of your website. Clicking on this icon will bring up a specific section of the wizard, allowing you to edit those settings.
  • Video Analytics - As always, I'd encourage you to watch the embedded video above for a visual demo because there have been a few changes to the logic of the Video Analytics Reports. The respective branch of the navigation menu now contains only one link. Clicking on this link without a previous query will simply show an "unfiltered" report [click the link for an example] for an overall look at the video ads data in SEMrush. Clicking from a previous query either by Keyword or Domain, will yield the respective data for each version of the report.

  • As you know, a planned maintenance is taking place in our Position Tracker. Granted, it has gone on longer than expected but it's absolutely necessary in order to make the Position Tracker even better. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, and greatly appreciate your patience. It's expected to resolve soon.

Let us know how we're doing — You can reach our Technical Support team Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. EST by phone at 855-814-4510 within the United States and, for our international users, 408-844-4633 from 4 a.m.-12 p.m. GMT. We're also available by email at mail@semrush.com during both of those business hours and on Twitter using the hashtag #SEMrushCare.
