SEMrush Rank and The Top Webinar Providers in SEMrush

SEMrush Rank and The Top Webinar Providers in SEMrush

In the spirit of Podcast and Webinar Week, I decided to map out how various webinar services appear in the eyes of SEMrush. I also wanted to use webinars as an example of how we can analyze SEMrush Rank in your industry and apply it to your SEO efforts.

With various forms of content out there, webinars are becoming great resources for businesses to educate their audience. We can see through their organic performance, which webinar services are out performing their competitors.

Let’s break down the top 5 services:

1. Cisco WebEx

  • Organic Traffic: 218k
  • Keywords: 3.9k
  • SEMrush Rank: 6.1k

Cisco’s software comes in at the top of our list. They ranked for the most keywords out of all the webinar companies searched in SEMrush. This, in result, gave them more visibility and coverage amongst the other companies. Also, this gave them the highest SEMrush Rank amongst these websites. If you are unfamiliar with SEMrush Rank, please view this article. (WebEx is an extension of Cisco which allows for webinar hosting.)

2. AnyMeeting

  • Organic Traffic: 10.5k
  • Keywords: 754
  • SEMrush Rank: 77.1k

In second place, we can see AnyMeeting with an SEMrush Rank of 77.1k.

AnyMeeting is a free webinar software that allows for you to have up to 200 participants along with other tools including sales and promotions.

3. GoToWebinar

  • Organic Traffic: 7.6k
  • Keywords: 139
  • SEMrush Rank: 99.9k

GoToWebinar, GoToMeeting’s secondary software, is third on our list with a SEMrush Rank of 99.9k. Although GoToMeeting has a higher SEMrush rank (4.0k) than all of these domains, GoToWebinar does not have as high of a ranking.

This is a simple webinar hosting platform that allows attendees to use multiple device options.

4. ReadyTalk

  • Organic Traffic: 5.3k
  • Keywords: 570
  • SEMrush Rank: 134k

ReadyTalk is the next webinar software clocking in at an SEMrush Rank of 134k. Now, I know what you are thinking. Why does this domain have a higher ranking than GoToWebinar? Although ReadyTalk ranks for more keywords than GoToWebinar, GoToWebinar receives more traffic from their keywords.

This same concept can be applied to any other website you look up in SEMrush. It does not always come down to a specific number for one category that determines rank over another. It is a combination of multiple factors including traffic and keywords. If you are ranking for a bunch of keywords, why would you rank higher than another site gaining more traffic with less keywords?

5. ClickWebinar

  • Organic Traffic: 1.5k
  • Keywords: 118
  • SEMrush Rank: 337k

The last provider on our list is ClickWebinar. ClickWebinar has a SEMrush Rank of 337k, which is still pretty good for a domain. This webinar provider is known for having cross-platform compatibility and allows for special features such as private meetings.

The Comparison: What We've Learned

When we look over these webinar providers, we can see that their SEMrush Rank is pretty good. Now, although they are in the thousands range for most of these, that is still pretty strong, especially considering the industry. The top provider, Cisco WebEx, still has an SEMrush Rank of 6.1k. Now although this may seem high, it is the best ranking for domains in this particular industry. It will be hard to go after a higher ranking within the Top 100. This is because there are such high authority websites in this category such as Wikipedia, Facebook and YouTube to name a few.

Whenever it comes down to analyzing competitors against yourself, it is important to consider their SEMrush Rank. This will give you a better range of where you stand amongst your competitors and those who are in your industry.
