Updated AdWords Policy Rolls Out Today

Google has announced the official launch of their AdWords Policy Center.

Back in June, the search giant announced that changes to AdWords policies were on the way. The updated guidelines were scheduled for release around September 2014, and designed to be more "user-friendly, accessible, and engaging for both advertisers and users."

This month, industry publications buzzed about the impending AdWords changes. The newly released policies include revamped information on prohibited content and quality standards. Google announced these changes were an effort to "create a safe and positive experience for users."

For more on the update and affected products or services, read "Google AdWords To Ban Certain Products This Month."

You can visit the new AdWords Policy Center here.

Ed. note: Thanks to Jignesh Gohel for the heads up on today's launch!

Nice job getting the news out, Kathleen. For some, it may be bad news, but it is important to be able to link to Google's Policy and get it straight from the 'horse's mouth'.
