Working with “rel-canonical” link tags in PageImprove

The tags <link rel="canonical" />  are useful for consolidating duplicate URLs. However, there are some important details to keep in mind regarding how these tags should be added using JavaScript. As Google Search Central says, it is possible to inject rel=“canonical” link tags with JavaScript. However, changing existing rel=“canonical” link value may lead to unexpected results.
