By clicking the SEMrush profile icon located in the top right of your page, you will be able to make changes to your account. Here you will be switch payment options or upgrade your account.
From the Profile menu there’s a number of ways to manage your account and billing settings. In your profile you will be able to:
- Change your password
- Upgrade your account
- Manage users
- Find a copy of your invoice
- View your query log
- Manage notes
- Update payment information
- Refund policy

Editing Your Profile
When you first enter into your SEMrush profile, you will see the first area you are directed to is the edit profile section. Under this section you will be able to see your registration date, your email, company name, your name, profession, time, country, phone number and the name of your domain. You may notice that some of these fields could be left empty depending on what information was entered at the time of your sign up. Not to worry, you are able to go into any of these fields, expect your email, and manually enter the information that you want.
If you want to change your email address associated with your account just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In this section is where you will also be able to change your password. Just below the aforementioned fields are the 3 different password fields: old password, new password and confirm password. Once you have settled on a new password for your account you simply hit save to confirm the password.
Directly underneath the edit your profile section of your account will be your account's subscription information. Here is where you will be able to see an overall summary of what is available to you within SEMrush based on your current account status. This includes information such as the number of users available to you and your project limits.
Here is where you will also be able to upgrade your account in order to gain access to a higher number of project limits among other data sets. The number of units you have aligned with your account is directly related to the type of subscription you have with SEMrush. Within subscription information you will also be able to see your information pertaining to API units. Just like the rest of your units, you can easily upgrade and buy more API units right from this section. If you want to change the credit card linked to your account, all you need to do is click on the blue change button next to your credit card description.
The final tab within your subscription information is the payments tab which will allow you to easily see all of your previous payments and invoices. Finding a copy of your invoice is easy, you simply click on the invoice button to the far right of your payment.
Within the payments tab you can see both the date of when the payment was processed as well as the amount of the payment. You also have the ability to get automated emails sent directly to an email address of your choice that will notify you of any payment that is processed for your SEMrush account.
Manage Your Accounts
If you are a paid user of SEMrush you will have the ability to manage all of the accounts that are associated with your email. If you have a number of different accounts linked to your email, this is where you will be able to view their account limits. You can also choose to add another user if you have not already used up your account limits.
At the top of the dashboard you will notice 4 different tabs that will show you different data for each account. The other three tabs include Projects, Query Log and Activity Log. To view your queries all you need to do is click on your profile in the top right and select the queries section.
Once selected you will be brought straight to a list of all of your search queries. This will include the time you search, whether it was historical or live data, which database it was from as well as the queried term itself.
Under the projects tab you will be able to see all of the projects set up for any of your accounts. You can also see the email used to set up the project, as well as the date it was created. If you are looking for a specific project, you can use the search bar directly above your list.
Both your query logs and activity logs will show you all of the searches and actions taken by any of your accounts.
