Backlink Audit: Protect Your Site's Top Subpaths and Landing Pages
We'd now like to present an extremely useful update for Backlink Audit, which will help defend your site and simplify your backlink analysis. Meet the ‘Report Scope’ filter.
As you might be aware, Google’s Penguin filter is designed to combat unnatural and artificial backlinks. Where Penguin previously checked sites entirely, now it oversees subpaths and URLs as well. This might lead to difficulties when promoting some specific pages.
Let’s say you own an online shop. One of your site’s subpaths promoting certain goods or services got penalized by Google’s algorithms due to toxic backlinks. At the same time, the entire site is ranking well in search engines results. Consequently, your shop may lose a significant percentage of traffic that was supposed to come to the type of goods or services described above.
And this is exactly where our new Report Scope filter will come in handy.
Now you can check not only the quality of your entire site’s backlinks, but also of its important subpaths, and take the necessary measures to stay clear of Google penalties and improve your site’s positions in search results.
The new Report Scope filter is embedded under your campaign’s name.
Just select the subpath or URL you’re interested in, and check backlinks leading to it.
Backlink analysis has never been more simple and convenient. Enjoy!
