Data in SEMrush Traffic Analytics: New Level of Accuracy Soon to Be Reached
Accuracy has always been a priority for SEMrush Traffic Analytics. For months, we’ve been working on making the tool’s stats more precise. On March 11, we’ll be ready to present the revamped data to our users.
Joined forces of an innovative machine learning algorithm and the enduring analysts’ principle that “several sources make proven data” took us to a new level of accuracy:
- Increased accuracy for small and medium domains (1K–100K monthly unique visitors), as well as for large websites;
- More precise estimation of website audiences.
Through years of work, SEMrush Traffic Analytics has accumulated terabytes of data from multiple sources. The variety of inputs allowed us to ensure the stability and high quality of data we provide to our users. It has been our obsession, because we know that reliable insight is only possible with a trustworthy foundation.
We’ve always wanted more for our users. So we asked ourselves: what could we add to these impressive volumes of raw data to make SEMrush Traffic Analytics even more instrumental for users?
The answer came in the form of artificial intelligence. We taught our intelligent system to process the accumulated data and extract more accurate estimates than ever before.
What does it mean for current users of SEMrush Traffic Analytics?
On March 11, when the improved estimation algorithm goes live in the tool, stats in all SEMrush Traffic Analytics reports, including historical data, will change. Starting from this point in time, the data shown in the tool will be more accurate, as the system has become more intelligent.
To save your reports from unexpected surprises, we’re notifying you about the update in advance, so that you have time to save any important stats as they are now.
Apart from that, you can continue using SEMrush Traffic Analytics as usual. All the reports will be available for paid subscribers of the Competitive Intelligence Add-On. We’ll make an announcement on the improved algorithm when it goes live in the tool.
If you need any more details on the update right now, please send them to email@example.com. Otherwise, stay tuned.
