Meet the New SEMrush Navigation!
The approaching new year is sure to bring a lot of positive changes and pleasant surprises! Here's the first one we have for you — please meet our newly designed navigation interface. Go ahead — check out the new SEMrush look and feel and let us know what you think!
Feeling a little confused? Let's take a quick look at what's changed:
Navigation Menu
One of our main goals was to make the left navigation menu user-friendly, compact and intuitive... okay, and good-looking too! So we transformed the somewhat overwhelming old menu to something much more elegant: all reports and tools are now intuitively grouped together into four easily understandable sections:
- Domain Analytics
- Keyword Analytics
- Projects
- My Reports
You can expand any of these sections by simply clicking on it. Plus, you can get quick access to all tools and reports by clicking the 'Entire menu' button (Fig. A).
And if you find the left menu distracting, you can always collapse it with just one click on the arrow button (Fig. B).
Search Bar
The next big change is the redesigned search bar. Not only does it look much better now, but it also offers extra functionality:
- Users can now switch between various reports right in the search bar (Fig. 1)
- The input field is now interactive: it will autosuggest example and previously used search queries (Fig. 2)
- You can clear your search query with just one click using the 'X' button (Fig. 3)
Additionally, it is now possible to browse and create new projects using the compact menu to the right of the search bar (Fig. 4)
Other Changes
We're also introducing a new design for both our header and footer sections to make them even more practical(and, of course, good looking).
We hope the new design improves your SEMrush experience! Please don't hesitate to share your feedback with us — send your comments, suggestions and ideas via email. Thank you for helping us make SEMrush better!
