Great news! We are pleased to present the beta launch of our new service – Notes. It will help you track all major SEMrush and Google updates (such as recent Penguin 4.0). Now it’s easy to see which events have influenced your site metrics. Here's where you can find our new service.
Here you can create your own notes associated with your projects, for instance, if you have refreshed your site recently and are wondering how it’s affecting your site’s ranking.
Also personal notes are now available in Domain Analytics: for both our Organic Research and Advertising Research services. Say you’re the owner of a sports-betting website and there’s an important sporting event ahead. Expect a sudden rush of traffic to your site, and don’t forget to make a note of this event.
In addition to creating your own notes, here you can monitor Google’s algorithm updates, which is very convenient – you'll be notified if your site is affected.
By the way, Google updates are coming to Position Tracking really soon!
Notes are created automatically in Backlink Audit in the ‘Lost & Found’ chart. This happens if you add many backlinks manually from a CSV file, or if your site is re-crawled.
You can see all of your current notes in the special ‘Notes list’ in your SEMrush profile. In addition, here you can import notes from a CSV file if you want to add several events at once.
Working with Notes is very simple. Just click on a ‘Red Diamond’ button to see details and a dropdown menu with notes' settings.
Since the tool is in beta, your feedback is extremely valuable to us. Feel free to share your ideas, comments and suggestions by emailing us at [email protected] or via the built-in feedback form.
Thank you for making SEMrush better!
