Since we launched our SEMrush Site Audit tool in March 2014, it has earned countless fans. Every day thousands of SEO professionals use our tool to monitor and optimize their websites' health.
We are continuously improving the Site Audit tool so that it will best meet the needs of all on-page optimizers. The SEMrush development team recently added some brand new site-auditing features that will allow you to:
1) Distinguish between old issues and new arrivals.
Is it a new or old issue? Has it been fixed or not?
If an issue was detected during the latest audit, it will be marked as “new.” Now you can instantly tell whether an error, warning, or notice already existed or if it has just popped up.
This feature will be very handy for SEO project managers in tracking websites’ optimization progress, for business owners in evaluating digital agencies’ performance, and for online marketing professionals struggling to receive higher rankings for their projects.
2) Understand a site-auditing status
Now, when you initiate a new website audit, you will not only see the number of crawled pages changing, but also the current statuses of other audits-in-progress, such as “checking external link,” (2) etc.
This new function allows you to estimate the audit’s duration and to know approximately when your site-auditing campaign will be completely updated, as well as when you can start analyzing fresh data.
