Site Audit’s News: get the Site Audit Overview report in your inbox and view all webpages pointing to error pages
Did the Site Audit tool show you pages on your website that were returning 4xx or 5xx error statuses? Are you still wondering how to spot the ones that contain links pointing to these error pages?
Now you can easily detect all of these!
Simply refer to the Issues Report for 4xx or 5xx pages. Next to every issue, you will notice a new link named “View broken links” (1). Click it.
You will then be taken to a detailed Page Report containing a list of affected webpages (2). The URL of the error page to which the listed pages are pointing are indicated in the “Link URL” column (3).
Fix or remove links that lead to error pages to improve both user experience and your website’s crawlability, and restart the audit to see results of your efforts.
When your website audit finishes, you will now receive a colorful, updated Site Audit Overview report, instead of plain text one, in your inbox.
You can instantly evaluate your website’s health thanks to such widgets as Score, Top 3 Issues, Trends, and more (4). Click the email’s elements to view an appropriate Site Audit report in the SEMrush User Interface.
To start receiving notifications after audits are complete, go to “Site Audit” under “Settings,” and check “Send email when audit is ready” in the “Notify me” section.
