Gautam Shewakramani

Gautam is the first person advising Quora with a focus on India. He works closely with the product and leadership team to ensure that Quora continues to improve and achieve its mission of sharing and growing the world's knowledge, with a special focus on the needs of people in India. Prior to joining Quora, he was founder & CEO of AudioCompass, a company focused on enhancing travel experiences for travelers with location-aware and do-it-yourself guided audio tours. Gautam was recognized by Conde Nast Traveller as one of the top 15 entrepreneurs who are ‘shaking up India's travel scene’. Gautam holds a bachelor’s of Science degree from the College of Engineering, University of Notre Dame with a double major in computer science and film. He has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
