Semrush blog

Many years ago, I decided that our blog would accept guest posts, and the benefits of this decision have been fantastic for the company. We have so many great and informative articles that help educate our community and our industry.

We know our guest authors have worked very hard to meet our editorial guidelines, and create pieces that have been very beneficial to our readers. SEMrush is grateful that so many people have taken the time to submit articles.

We have enjoyed watching unknown marketers worldwide start on our blog and create a respected name for themselves by providing insights and strategies many in the online marketing industry have read and used. But, we feel it is time to change things a bit.

A New Direction

While UGC has been successful for us, there were some limitations, and we feel it is time to go in a new direction with the SEMrush blog. We have made the very tough decision to end guest posting on the blog.

This decision does not mean that you will no longer see industry experts contributing to the blog. These writers just won’t be guest bloggers. Instead, we will have a hand-picked set of experts in different niches that our Editorial Team can depend on to provide the best insights for our community and industry.

We know this new direction will mean the blog will become even more useful and educational, and we are excited to see what the future holds.

A Big Thank You to Our Guest Writers

SEMrush wants to thank everyone that has contributed to our blog. We know how long it takes to research, write, and create a great article, and we are honored that you gifted that time to us. You have been a huge inspiration and have helped educate our community. We will be forever grateful for your contributions.

I‘m the CEO and Founder of Semrush. My mission is to not only revolutionize the industry but to conquer it too. I’ve always believed that surrounding myself with like-minded people would be crucial to reaching my goals and I was absolutely correct. They say you’re only as strong as your weakest link and if that’s true, then I think we’re in pretty good shape.
