To cancel your account, please log into your account and navigate to the Subscription Info page. Find the link that says “active” next to “recurring” and follow the “contact us” link to the cancellation form.
You will arrive at a form that looks like this:
Under “Tell us a bit more,” be sure to include:
the email address associated with the account
the last four digits and type of the credit card used
the billing amount and date of your last payment
anything else about your SEMrush experience that led to your decision
To downgrade your account or change the email address on your account, you need to email us at [email protected] (from the email address associated with your account if possible) and a team member will be happy to help you through the process.
Please note that working hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST Monday through Friday in the US and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. GMT in the EU.
You will receive a refund for the net price of your claim if the cancellation request is made within 7 days of your billing date.
This refund request will typically be processed within 10 days of receiving it and it will be processed through the same method as the original payment. Find our official refund policy here.

Continuing with a Free Account
After cancelling your subscription, you will still be able to access SEMrush on a free level account. There is also a 30 day grace period where we will save your Projects data in case the account is renewed within 30 days of the cancellation.
However, with a free account, your limits and access to certain tools and reports will be greatly reduced.
